Wanted is a senior thesis film created as part of my graduating Film & Television program at the Savannah College of Art and Design. Written by Berlin-based screenwriter Peter Dodds, the award-winning 10-page drama was brought into development through my senior pre-production course, where I pitched myself as director to producer Gabi Velis and was selected to lead the project. From there, I worked closely with our casting director to cast outside of the school, bringing in actors from Atlanta, Florida, and North Carolina. As director, I helped shape the film from early creative development through production, collaborating across departments to build the world of 1938 Kansas through performance, location, costume, production design, music, and color. The process involved extensive location scouting to find spaces that could support the period setting, along with close collaboration with costume and production design to create a world that felt grounded, specific, and emotionally honest.
