Downeastern Daydreamer is a fashion film created in collaboration with designer Jamie, who reached out to me to help bring her collection to life through film. Together, we developed a visual direction inspired by her childhood growing up in Maine, focusing on story, mood, location, and movement to support the garments in an intentional way. I directed and managed the project from pre-production through post, including location scouting, crew building, story development, shot listing, and editing multiple versions of the final film. To capture the feeling of Maine while keeping travel realistic for our cast and crew, we filmed in Hiawassee, Georgia, using the location to create the atmosphere Jamie envisioned. Throughout the process, my goal was to showcase the garments beautifully while staying true to the designer’s vision.
